Lively discussions abound where I have coffee in the ‘hood.   Today we chatted about parenting, multiculturalism, and the U.S. Democrats leadership campaign.   What a stimulating, motivating way to start the day!  I should have come straight home and blogged, as I had plenty of food for thought.  Instead I got into some mundane, mind-numbing chores, thus the current blandness of my writing.

I should really write first thing in the morning, but other family customs prevail and prevent that.  Maybe it’s time for a change in customs!   Or a change in my own mental habits?  When it’s time for change, sometimes it’s our own internal structures that really need to come down or be re-assembled in a new way…
